MY HUNTING PARTNERS:
Partners Steven and Brian - My sons are
first on this list. It is my hope that the both of you shall become as fortunate as I have, being blessed with friends as
dear as you(below). I know that if anything ever happenes to me, you (boys) will be taught the ethical ways of the outdoors
by many of the following friends and partners that I have made over the years. Brittany , each and every day I await your
return. My children, my life, my world, I love you, Daddy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Uncles Llyod, Leo, Norman, Joe , cousins Mike, David and Ray, Henry and Hank , Brian, Leo and Billy, Alan, Junior
. Keeping the outdoor tradition alive in the Bissonnette family. I know that I have forgotten many, I am sorry that I haven't
had the chance to hunt with Uncle Gene , but I have enjoyed the many stories. Ed Westgate known as # 2 , has been with
me on many a trips from near to far, real and altered, fishing, hunting, drinking and all the other things that close friends
have done & and than some ! Ever share the backseat of a police car? yup! Rich Izbicki with the sky blue camo face
paint! He is the person responsable for me becoming involved in archery, thanks, cosmic wimp out ! Also to his dad and brothers,
Mike and Tommy. And to you Mark Schofield , fly fishing is a wonderful sport, maybe someday you too will catch a 5 lb
rainbow. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good friend of mine
Bert Goodman has a guide service,in Maine and Canada, along with his wife Linda , his father Dale and brother Hank , they
have a great thing going. It's Hank's bear in the photo. Life long friend Randy Flannery and his wife Sharon have a lodge
in Maine, if it's available to hunt or fish or play, they are ready give them a call. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Terry McCrosson & the brothers Bob ,{Terrill & Davis 'MOUTH' } along with Donald provided me plenty of turkey
action and good times in Vermont and on the high seas aboard, MISTY . Can't forget the hospital-trout for breakfest-tt for
bed time & trolls ! Smash-em-inda-head ! Screaming reels with summer time blues. Tom Luz whom I hunted and fished
with many years back and the greenpeace stand. And you too Scott Brewer , that was a nice shot on that little buck. Itchy
Joe Soars we have to get together again, it's been a long time. The boys from the hill , Steve The camp Cryer has been
part of the crew since the inception. But don't try a G.P.S. in Maine. Dave "63" took to the bow like a sasquach to the rockies,
has missed a few classic's but we all understand, #2 thanks you, for he could at least sleep! Steve "Squrriel" is another
shooter whom for some strange reason is Left handed, but can shoot. Can't fault him to much for that. He also has been to
all of the B.I.B.C.'s, and to a Gray Lady ! Pete known as "the Neck" has been to a couple of the "invitationals" and is always
a joy to share time with. Does a mean sink of dishes! Can not mention a hunt without "Jiddo" , I have spent plenty of time
in and out of the woods with Ed , how many steps is it again, coming home from the MUSE ???? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With Jiddo in mind, the GRAY LADY comes to mind and overseas hunting. Having seen the sunrise on the ocean (surrounded
by deer track) while sitting in the dunes, tasting the salt water mist, brings back plenty of fond memories! Uncle Bill
, walking with a beam of light, like a sceen out of a Star Wars movie. Boo ! Jeff , also one of the D.O.C's. S.R.T.'s has
been to the island with us; adds ethnic flavor and energy to the group. Sean new to the archery thing but not to the outdoors,
is welcome to any camp I share. That leaves the cook of all cooks! Chris where have you been these last twenty some odd years?
We all thank you! The mints are a great touch ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hot Rod has been to the island also, and we in turn have been to New York with him. I must thank you, Mom Leek for
the room, food, soap opras, coffee and all the time spent just talking about everything and nothing and too Zusse, the best
deer watch dog around. Jeff "fat boy" got his first deer in back of Tee's house and with that, thanks and prayers go to Tee
, may you rest in peace. Chris and Darren "Yohimme" partners for life, hunting that is, added a wrinkle to the New York adventures.
Doc was there for a second also but was gone just like that? I can not forget my pending third wife Ann , we will have a nice
bar their. As soon as we are both single again. "Ron's Place", I should know better to flirt with older married women, great
person and better times were had in her company and establishment. Donnie and I enjoyed many laughs together and a couple
of beverages, Joe hunted with us when he wasn't bass fishin'. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spider known as Ray, who is uglier than me along with his hunting partners Bish, Roger and sons I thank for the numerous
stories about hunting throughout the good and bad times. It's great to know that spinning a tale around the campfire has it's
place, and these guys have tales to be told. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks go out to Uncle Henry for teaching me the finer points of the sharp knife and the how's and why's of butchering.
To my Pepere' and Memere' whom instilled in me the joys of fishing, independance and so much more. To Uncle Richard the smile
you put on Stevens face while driving a real boat will never be forgotten. To "Ruth" whom shared many laughs with us while
'neaking up on them' , 3D shooting. Thanks to all the spouses who have put up with this alternate lifestyle called hunting
& fishing, and have prepared many a great meal. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More and more people come to mind, The 'Governer' Nolan along with 'Lighten' Leblanc and 'Baloonknot' Connell whom
have shared their time and fishing stories with me. With that 'Chic' Feldman and his red devil grill are added to this ever
growing list. Can't forget Pat 'look-at-me' Mulvey and the excitement he added when hooked-up to a striper. Jeff Padula was
also present durning those trips along with 'smiley' Medeiros . Fairley ['Lighten's dad] was on shore casting to the deep
waters with us. The bon fires of fishing partners will burn forever! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To my Mother Loretta , aka BIG RED , A special thanks for everything, may she rest in peace! To my sisters; Deborah,
Rosemarie, Brenda I own a lot of thanks and praise for the help that I received from each one of you in your own seperate
way. To my brother Paul, welcome back into my life ! We are still partners. My brother / cousin Bobby , you are
not forgotten. Together as a family we overcame many problems and faced adversities that molded us into what we are today.
"Big Richy" thanks for being there for us and for leaving me a piece of banana bread! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to the people whom have taught me a lesson on how not to behave, "foxhole" and your special spot . The
two hunters that left me in the woods with a broken back. I figure it this way, if only three have made the list in twenty
some odd years of this I'm doing pretty good. Yet, I have also learned from them! I wish no harm to anyone, and if in
need, I would help any or all three.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It is always nice to add to this page.
Once again several people have entered my life directly from hunting
season. Spending a week in a van and at the dinner table at North Country Lodge I welcome Tom and Kevin Fregeau,
along with Doug and Sid the Kid. Bear hunting is a blast. I am hoping to do it again maybe I'll be able
to control my 'Elvis' leg next time.
